Day 2

I've been thinking of the several times I've started challenges over the years. It seems that I've drifted away from what BFL is about and focused on the challenge instead of what the challenge is about. The original purpose of the challenge was a dare....Bill Phillips dared people to follow his plan for 12 weeks as a means to transform, well, everything about themselves.

I've been so focused on doing a challenge I have forgotten what it is that I am challenging, so here it is:

I believe that it is possible for a fifty year old, fat, and out of shape man to transform into the best physical condition of his life. I believe that this can be accomplished in a few short months without drugs, crazy diets, or surgery. I believe that it is never too late to discard bad habits and develop good ones.

I believe that I do not have to live the way I do. I believe that I have the power to transform myself.

Hey Jay,

I am just getting back into blogging after falling off the wagon again, but I have been back to healthy living for about 5 weeks now.

Just catching up on my reading again, and just got all caught up on your blog. I am about a week ahead of you on my challenge and I will be following your progress as the days and weeks follow!

Let's do this!
