Some people like winter. They like the snow, the ice, the crisp frigid air.

Interesting...I'm a social worker at a hospital and we always wonder how a social worker who has never worked in a medical setting will react to being in the ICU and the emergency department etc. It's always a worry that they won't have a realistic idea of what they'll see in the course of a day. I'm all for realism myself.
Some people will just fall apart in a crisis. My thoughts are that it is better to find that out in a controlled setting rather than during a crisis when people are depending on you.
